About Pundit.cfg Editor

This program was designed to allow editors of the pundit.cfg file to edit it using a nice interface, instead of a text editor. The program will also remove unnecessary comments from the file, and (hopefull) remove any errors, such as a CITY for a NATIONAL_DAILY type.

Help:

The pundit.cfg file is in the form “Name of Publication” “Type of Publication” “City Related”

“Name of publication” can be anything at all eg. “The Pundit.cfg Editor Weekly Newsletter”

“Type of publication” must be one of (“NATIONAL_DAILY”, “NATIONAL_SUNDAY”, “WEBSITE”, “LOCAL_DAILY”, “LOCAL_RADIO”, “RADIO”)

“City Related” is only applicable for “LOCAL” types, and again can be anything you want e.g “Pundit_Editorville”

The Text Boxes:

Name of Publication: This is what the publication is called. E.g. “http://www.graemekelly.com webmaster”

Type Of Publication: Tyis is the type of publication. E.g. “WEBSITE”

City Related: This is the city related(only for LOCAL types) e.g. “Mossend”

The Browsing Buttons:

First Button: Displays the first entry in the file

Previous Button: Goes to the previous entry.

Next Button: Moves to the next entry.

Last Button: Moves to the last entry.

Editing Buttons:

Add Button: This allows the user to add a new publication.

Delete Button: This prompts the user to delete the current publication.

The Save/Exit Buttons:

Save Button: This saves the pundit.cfg file to the DATA directory.

Refresh Button: This is enabled once changes have been made, and allows the user to revert to the save version.

Exit Button: This exits the program. If changes have been made, the user is prompted to save.
