Description: Make sure you have the latest version of CM 01/02 (version 3.9.68) before installing.

To install the update, point the self-extracting .exe at your CM 01/02 Data folder (usually C:\Program Files\Championship Manager 01-02\Data\), and overwrite all files.

Before doing so, it is recommended that you back up the files that the update replaces – that’s all .dat files, plus player_setup.cfg, euro.cfg and pundit.cfg. None of your existing save games will be affected by installing this update.

Known Problems

Some of the players that I’ve added will have different positions, and abilities to what has been set in the editor (and it may change every time). This problem is not unique to this update, and in testing of the editor we’ve tried to get to the bottom of it, but to no avail.
